Happy Polar Bear Education
Happy Polar Bear Education is a climate change education project for elementary and middle school students initiated by SinoCarbon Training and Education. at the end of 2017. It aims to provide science education courses online and in site, interactive games, scientific experiments, social practice and international study tours. To help students understand the causes of climate change and its impact on the natural environment and daily life, cultivate green and healthy living habits, enhance the awareness of green and low-carbon environmental protection, establish scientific understanding of climate change and sustainable development, and improve creativity and influence in mitigating and adapting to climate change.
Happy Polar Bear Education includes three sections:
Happy Polar Bear
Aiming at the climate change science education in primary and secondary schools, the teaching methods of international authoritative institutions let students understand climate change in a scientific, interactive and interesting way, and expand the extension of knowledge.
Climate Young
Climate Young provides an international exhibition stage for students who intend to pursue further studies in the environmental field, enhances students' soft power, and becomes more competitive when applying for international prestigious schools.
The Arctic Circle
A learning interactive platform for young climate change enthusiasts, regular social practice, hand-made, scientific experiments and other activities are organized to encourage students to improve their comprehensive ability and build friendship in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Since the end of 2017, Happy Polar Bear Education has carried out a total of 17 popular science activities and trainings in Beijing, Qinghai, Yunnan and other places. Nearly 1,000 students participated in the activities, including local authorities, school teachers and students.
